How Wairau Honey Co operates
Wairau Honey Co runs hives from the Marlborough Sounds bush down through the Wairau Valley. Sound-side sites produce the mānuka harvest (UMF 5+ and 10+ — Marlborough mānuka tends to test slightly lower than East Cape but more consistently year-on-year), while the valley clover and a small borage-from-the-vineyards harvest fill out the year. Excellent in-house testing programme.
