How Whitianga Coastal Bees operates
Whitianga Coastal Bees runs hives along the Coromandel's eastern coast — close enough to the pohutukawa stands that they catch the December bloom, far enough into the bush that they can run a small mānuka programme too. Their pohutukawa harvest is small (a 600–900 jar release in late January most years) but consistent. Their everyday bush blend is a Coromandel summer staple.
