Arataki Honey

Arataki Honey is a family-owned New Zealand honey company based on Arataki Road in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay. Its own history page says Percy Berry bought nine acres there in 1944 and, with his son Ian, registered 131 hives to Arataki Apiaries Ltd. The company now describes itself as having three manufacturing sites across the North and South Islands, more than 100 staff and 1.5 billion bees.

Airborne Honey

Airborne Honey Ltd is a family-owned honey company based in Leeston on the Canterbury Plains. Its own history page says William Bray and his partner Alfred Barrett began commercial beekeeping on Banks Peninsula in 1910, registered the Airborne brand (then a white clover honey) in 1926, and moved the business to Leeston in the late 1920s. The company says three generations of the Bray family have run it since.

Brands are profiled because people search for them. None has paid or asked to be here, and the flower matters more than the label: the best honey for each use.
